It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 11th HOPE Congress, which will take place in Poznań from 14-18 May 2018. The theme of this HOPE Congress is: „Equal education in hospital schools. How to put a stop to exclusion of sick children and their families?”.
Hospital and home education requires special focus from both: government and society. Supporting it is a measure of progress in upholding human rights and prevention of exclusion. At the same time, the notion of equality and equal education is receiving more and more attention in Poland and other European countries.
European community is becoming increasingly aware of the problem and that's why the congress will serve as a good platform for discussion, reflection, and seeking solutions to exclusion of sick children and their families. To ensure the widest possible scope for sharing experiences and best practices, we have invited educational, and medical specialists, as well as psychotherapists, and other professionals dealing with sick children on a daily basis. We believe the outcomes of the congress will benefit both participants and those in their care.
We are happy to announce that Professor Philip Zimbardo has agreed to be the patron of the congress.
Please make a note of the dates and visit the Congress website frequently. There will be more and more details in the coming months.
If you wish to suggest a speaker or a workshop, please get in touch with us.
We hope to see you all in Poznań!
